My 4th visit to this lovely mid-week summer race organised by Staffordshire Harriers. The Staffordshire Knot 5 miler was the first event that I ever took part in so it's always nice to return and do it again.
Considering it seemed to be raining for most of the day in Birmingham the course was pretty dry and there was only a light shower during the race so it was quite nice conditions to run in.
The only other BvH runner I saw there was Sally Gray - I spoke to her afterwards and I think that she had done an excellent sub 34 min race.
I trotted around in 47:27 ( probably be 20 secs slower in official times as I started near the back).
A nice mug memento to all finishers.
