Mark's Marathon Training Diary WK 15
18 Apr 2006 13:06

Monday – 7 MILES  45 MINS,  ahhh! The light nights just how great is this.

Nice little run around the parks, what more could a man ask for

Do you want a list

1)     my toe to get it feeling back

2)     my shins to stop hurting

3)     the bad dreams to stop

4)     that pretty lady in the shop to give me her phone number, or just wave at me

5)     the voice in my head to stop talking (just for a minute)

Tuesday – REST

Wednesday – 6 MILES 40MINS. Ran up to cotteridge and back plenty of hills I was really happy considering this used to take me 50mins last year I think someone has made it shorter.

Thursday – 12 x 200m hills – SORRY !!!!!!! yes I know it was hard but 7.5 miles of hill reps never hurt anyone, well actually it hurt mark smith coz he fell over, but he looked ok after he got up and I made him finish the session.

Friday – rest

Saturday – Lo Lo’s birthday  lots of jelly ice cream and a 3 hour bike ride with her new tag on trailer bike.

Sunday – 90mins 10 miles – this was the worst run I have had in ages. I was pain from start to finish but at least it was my last long run. Roll on the taper next week.
