Having to work away in Manchester. A big zero tonight as late back to the hotel. |

Tue (16/1) |
Made my acquaintances with the gyms treadmill. Not convinced it was measuring distance correctly. Managed 30min which I pushed. Somewhere between 5-6 miles having started slowly. |

Wed (17/1) |
Hoped to get home and see if Kev fancies a run but I was late back so another big zero. |

Thur (18/1) |
Planned to go to the club tonight but I had to travel down to London and got caught up in the rail chaos. No run……just a couple of pints of Guiness when I got to the club at 9:30. |

Fri (19/1) |
Right so this week has been a complete disaster. I am going to have to hurt myself to make up. Went for a 9 miler, running Harborne Hills and adding an extra mile. It was still very windy. Ran at a steady 6:45 pace. Felt fresh but ended up with a sore hamstring.

Sat (20/1) |
Cross country training at Cofton. Small lap warm up and 30min of constant 450m running with 1 min recovery ~ 3 miles (5000m), 1 mile warm down. Legs burnt but it was a good session. Shattered the rest of the day. |

Sun (21/1) |
16m run. Kev and I missed each other so I only had myself to punish. 8m (57:30) easy out along Harborne hills upto Quinton and over to the Uni. Then 4m along the canal at a tempo pace (26min) then a shattered last 4m (32m) through Northfield. If yesterday I was shattered then today I was exhausted!
